Anne Dudek

Anne Louise Dudek is an American actor from the United States. She is well known for portraying Tiffany Wilson on the 2004 comedy White Chicks Danielle Brooks as Dr. Amber Volakis from Fox House. She also played Lura Grant in HBO's Big Love series and Francine Hanson on the AMC show Mad Men. Anne Dudek's most famous role is that of Tiffany Wilson, in the movie White Chicks. She is also popular for her television roles as Dr. Amber Volakis in Fox's sitcom House Danielle Brookson in USA Network's drama Covert Affairs and Lura Grant in HBO's drama Big Love. Dudek grew up in Massachusetts and attended Northwestern University. Her first part as an actor was on stage in The Iphigenia Cycle, a production at the university. In New York City, the production was withdrawn from Broadway where Dudek was awarded the Joseph E. calloway award as well as American Theater Magazine profiled her as a promising young actress to follow. Dudek landed roles in television and also on the large screen. Matthew Heller was the husband of the renowned actor between 2008 to 2016. Dudek was born in Boston Massachusetts on March 22 1975. She was raised in Newton. Her early years were spent in Newton. Dudek was a student at Northwestern University and appeared in various stage performances. Her Broadway debut was in Wrong Mountain on Broadway in 2000. Later she was awarded with the Connecticut Critics Circle Award, for her performance of The Glass Menagerie. Then she appeared on TV first starring in The Book Group, a British comedy-drama The Book Group. She has since guest-starred on several other television shows, such as Desperate Housewives, How I Met Your Mother Friends ER Charmed Bones Numb3rs as well as Six Feet Under. She also portrayed Lucinda Barry on the pilot episode of Psych and later a schoolteacher who shares a sexual encounter with one of her students in Law & Order Criminal Intent. Dudek got her first repeat part in House in the role of Amber Volakis. Her character was among the forty physicians Dr. Gregory House considered for permanent roles on his team. Amber Volakis' character continued to be featured throughout the series, until it was killed off at the finale in House's Heart. House would later show her as a distorted model of herself in the fifth season episode Saviors. Dudek was later seen as Francine as the neighbor next door in Mad Men and as Alby's adversarial wife in Big Love. Dudek appeared in Covert Affairs, portraying Danielle Brooks as the sister of the central character. In 2004, she played Tiffany Wilson, a cruise-line heir from White Chicks. She also played Anthony Hopkins daughter in The Human Stain.
